MIT D-Lab workshops are catalytic experiences that function best within long-term initiatives focused on community inclusion and impact. MIT D-Lab has developed, facilitated and supported participatory design workshops with partners in Central America, Africa, and Southeast Asia since 2007. These hands-on workshops have been used by our students, our researchers, and our community-based partners to generate local innovations, activate local innovators, and catalyze local innovation ecosystems.
